Mitchell County Schools are a public school system with seven schools grades K-12. We are nestled in the picturesque mountains of western North Carolina. Academic excellence is the desired result for all students at MCS and we are on a continual path to maximize student learning at every grade. Our programs provide students with the technology, skills, and knowledge to be effective members of our school community and a global society.
